Friends Group has built a strong and growing presence in the castor oil industry through Kandla Agro & Metal Private Limited(formerly known as Kandla Agro and Chemicals Pvt Ltd.), a modern manufacturing company engaged in the production of castor oil and specialty derivatives for global industrial markets.
Established in 2011, the company operates from its advanced manufacturing facility in Bharapar Village, Gujarat, with an annual seed-crushing capacity of 180,000 metric tonnes. Strategically positioned within India’s key castor-producing belt, the facility combines efficient processing capabilities with strong export connectivity, enabling seamless supply to customers across international markets.
The division manufactures a wide range of castor-based products catering to industries such as pharmaceuticals, lubricants, specialty chemicals, paints, coatings, cosmetics, polymers, and industrial manufacturing.
